Each city accepts a maximum of 2 Agent nodes. Excess applications will not be reviewed. Do NOT deploy Agent before approval. Ensure your nodes can run stably long-term — unstable nodes will be delisted without prior notice.
Agent is a lightweight program — it installs no system dependencies, modifies no files, and does NOT participate in port scanning or CIDR scanning (handled by our own nodes). Your server is only used for basic diagnostics such as Ping, HTTP, DNS, and MTR.

FAQ
Common questions about becoming a node sponsor
No. GlobalPing node sponsors only need to provide a server that meets the minimum requirements — no payment required. In return, your brand information will be displayed on the corresponding node details.
No. Agent is a lightweight program that installs no system dependencies and modifies no files. Port scanning and CIDR scanning are performed exclusively by our own nodes. Your server is only used for basic network diagnostics such as Ping, HTTP, DNS, and MTR.
After your Agent node is approved, you can submit brand Logo, company profile and other materials. We will display your brand details on the corresponding node information page. Please submit brand materials only after node approval — no need to prepare during the review period.
We prioritize Agent nodes that support IPv6 addresses. Nodes without IPv6 support may be replaced and delisted. We recommend providing an IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack network environment for longer-term display opportunities.
For underserved network regions, Agent nodes are allowed to run on dynamic IP servers (bandwidth ≥50Mbps download / ≥10Mbps upload may be relaxed). However, you must contact our administrator first for special configuration before installing Agent. Please reach out via [email protected].
To ensure geographic distribution balance across global nodes, deploying too many nodes in the same city wastes resources. We aim to distribute monitoring resources across more regions, providing users with a more comprehensive global network diagnostics perspective.
Very little. Agent itself uses only about 20-30 MB of memory, with near-zero CPU usage when idle. It only generates brief network and CPU overhead when executing user-initiated diagnostic tasks. A 2-core 2 GB configuration is more than sufficient.
We recommend Debian 10+ or Ubuntu 18.04+. Other Linux distributions (CentOS, Fedora, Arch, etc.) may also work, but we don't provide official testing guarantees for all distributions. Windows and macOS are not supported.
